Vintage Onoto De La Rue Magna 1873 Fountain Pen in superb overall condition and working order. This is the opaque black chased barrel model which dates the pen to early 1946. The chasing remains consistent and clear, and the pen is free from any dents, dings or significant scratches, and no brassing of the three gold cap bands or clip. The plunger filling system is in good working order. The end of the plunger is marked 1873. The imprint on the barrel is crisp and clear and reads ONOTO MAGNA DE LA RUE & CO LTD LONDON. The nib is the platinised two tone large No 7 in excellent condition. It is a lovely flexible Medium and is marked DE LA RUE ONOTO 14CT LONDON 7.
