Mont Blanc Writers Edition Agatha Christie Fountain Pen. One of the most sought after of the Writers Edition, issued in 1993, this is the rarer Vermeil model of which there are only 4,810 worldwide (the silver model was an edition of 30,000). Mint condition with sticker, boxes and papers as shown. 18 K solid gold Medium nib, with classic piston filler mechanism.

Mont Blanc Writers Edition Agatha Christie Fountain Pen. One of the most sought after of Writers Editions, and this pen is the rarest of that Edition. The Silver Edition with Ruby Red eyes was 30,000 pens, the Vermeil Edition with Emerald eyes was just 4,810 pens. This exclusive Press Edition in Solid Silver with Emerald eyes was a mere 120 pens, each engraved with the word Press and the number of the pen. They were presented to members of the Press and other prominent public figures. This pen is Press 70. Issued in September 1993 Mint condition, still with original sticker. Also with book style box, somewhat worn as shown. 18 K solid gold ‘snake’Limited Edition Medium nib, with classic piston filler mechanism. Extremely rare, and exceptional for one of these to come to the market.

Vintage Mont Blanc 206 in Coral Red with gold filled trim, and dating to 1955. Manufactured in Denmark. These Danish pens, produced during the period 1914 to 1992, are scarce and highly sought after by collectors. For the full story, there is an excellent book recently released ‘Montblanc in Denmark 1914 - 1992 - The Untold Story’ by Claus Holten and Poul Lund. Highly recommended. Turning knob is imprinted ‘206’. Original clip. Correct #6 14K Medium/Broad nib. Superb near mint condition. In full working order, and recently serviced.

Mont Blanc Boheme Radial Steel Amethyst Fountain Pen. Stainless steel lined barrel and cap. Clip with synthetic Amethyst and individual serial number. Retractable 18K solid white gold Medium nib in perfect condition. Excellent near mint condition. No dents, dings or other flaws. Just some light scuffing/microscratches to the steel surace, only visible on close inspection. Takes standard international cartridges. Stunning model, only made for a short period.

Montblanc Mark Twain Limited Edition Midnight Blue Fountain Pen, Ballpoint and Mechanical Pencil triple set. The Fountain Pen with Medium nib. Mint condition as new with inner and outer boxes, white outer sleeve and papers and 2012 purchase receipt from Mont Blanc Boutique in Bond Street. Limited Edition number 1712 of 3000. The American writer recalled the defining period of his life spent as a steersman on the Mississippi. The design of the writing instruments is also inspired by the river that had a lasting influence on Twain and his work - the sinuous curving lines on cap and barrel, made of deep-blue precious resin, reflect the shallow waves of the river. The top of the cap is shaped to resemble the Mississippi steamboat chimneys, whose steam is illustrated by ivory-coloured precious resin. The clip is formed by a stylised jew’s harp, a musical instrument that was popular in the Southern states in Twain’s time. Platinum-plated mountings and the ivory-coloured Montblanc emblem complete the distinctive character of the writing instrument. The crowning features of this unique Limited Edition are Mark Twain’s signature and the number of the pen on the cap ring, and the two fathoms engraved on the rhodium-plated 18 K gold nib.
